Robbert Lemmens CSCP

Robbert has, after finishing the secondary school in 1982 the Secondary Technical School finished his studies at Technical high school Eindhoven (specialized in Technical Computer Science). He started after graduation with developing hardware and embedded software for industrial automation projects. Hereafter the projects were more production related such as product cost calculation, production registration and production planning (MRP). Next projects were design and implementation of tailored WMS system with use of RF functionality.

Further working experience consists of:
• Information analyst Factory Automation (1988-1992)
• Business analyst / Application specialist at a European logistics provider (1992-1996)
• Product consultant for a WMS systems integrator (1996-1997)
• Systems manager for logistics provider in Venlo (1997-1998)
• Manager Process Engineering at a European logistics provider (1998-2001)
• Consultant Warehouse Management and Transport at Philips Lighting (2001-2008)
• Service line manager WMS at Philips Lighting IT (2007-2008)
• Change manager / Solution Architect at Philips IT Applications (2008-2010)
• Senior IT Specialist / Process expert at Philips IT Applications (2010)
• Supply Chain Specialist at Philips Distribution Services (2010-Today)

During this working experience he has worked on several projects that contained RF and Voice collection functionality and equipment. He follows the development of the RF-ID technology very closely to be able to adapt the WMS processes according the suppliers / customers demand.

Key areas of expertise: Expert in Warehouse and Distribution processes and system possibilities, Knowledge of logistical concepts. Well experienced in GAP-fit and process analyses, business process improvement. Experienced in systems (a.o. WMS, AIDC) architecture, selection and implementation.

Next to his work he has followed various courses in logistics, such as Logistics management and supply chain management (APICS-CSCP).

He has been a workers council member for several years.
